Jazz standards get a genuine reworking here, with rhythms pulled from the islands of the Indian Ocean and from Martinique, and vocals in both English and French. There are originals in the set too, which is where the mix really shows itself. So it's a Perth jazz band, but not the one everybody else books. Weddings, private functions, corporate events, cocktail parties and regular venue work all suit. Worth considering if you want something with an actual accent to it rather than the same standards played the same way at every event you have been to this year.
