Common questions
Does it cost anything to enquire?
No. Enquiring is free, there is no account to create and you can submit as many enquiries as you need. You only pay if you decide to book.
How quickly will I hear back?
We aim to reply quickly. You will usually receive an initial reply within one business day. Some enquiries take longer while price, travel or availability is checked.
Is an enquiry a confirmed booking?
No. An enquiry and a quote do not reserve the date. Your booking is confirmed only when you receive a written booking agreement and complete any required deposit or payment.
Can I ask questions before I decide?
Yes. Add your questions to the enquiry or reply after you receive a quote. You can check set times, inclusions, space, power, travel and anything else that matters to your event.
What if my date changes?
Ask as soon as you can. A date change depends on your chosen entertainer being available and must be agreed in writing.
What if I need to cancel?
Tell us as soon as possible and more than 60 days before the event. Your written booking agreement sets out the cancellation terms and any payments that apply to your booking.
Can an entertainer learn a particular song?
Ask in your enquiry. Every entertainer is different. Some accept song requests or learn new material and others work from a set repertoire. Any request must be agreed in writing.
Where does the profile information come from?
Book Entertainment brings together publicly listed information about entertainers across Australia. Information and availability can change. Entertainers can contact us to correct, update or remove a listing.
How do I pay?
If you choose to go ahead, you can pay by credit card or direct deposit. The payment instructions are included with your written booking agreement.
