bookentertainment.com.au is operated by Bands Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 90 668 816 457). In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Bands Australia Pty Ltd.

These terms apply when you use bookentertainment.com.au, submit an enquiry or apply to list an act. A confirmed entertainment booking is also governed by its separate written booking agreement. If that agreement differs from these website terms, the booking agreement applies to that booking.

1. About the website

bookentertainment.com.au helps people browse entertainers across Australia, submit event details, receive quotes and arrange bookings. The catalogue includes information supplied by entertainers and information that is publicly listed online.

A profile does not promise that an entertainer is available, suitable for a particular event or currently offering every service shown. Entertainers and authorised representatives can request a correction, update or removal through our contact form.

2. Enquiries and quotes

Browsing and enquiring are free and no account is required. You may enquire about more than one entertainer. An enquiry or quote does not reserve a date and is not a confirmed booking.

Prices and availability can depend on the date, location, travel, performance requirements and information you provide. A quote may change if those details change.

3. Bookings and payments

A booking is confirmed only when you receive and accept a written booking agreement and complete any required payment. If you choose to proceed, payment can be made by credit card or direct deposit using the instructions supplied with that agreement.

Do not send card details through an enquiry, listing application or support form.

4. Date changes, cancellations and requests

A date change depends on the chosen entertainer being available and must be agreed in writing. Song requests, new material, production requirements and other special requests apply only when they are accepted in writing.

If you need to cancel, you must tell us more than 60 days before the event. Your written booking agreement sets out the cancellation process and any fees, deposits or payments that apply.

5. Listings and submitted content

If you submit text, photographs, video links or other material, you confirm that you have the right to provide it. You allow that material to be used to assess, publish, maintain and promote the relevant listing and the bookentertainment.com.au service.

A listing application does not guarantee publication. Listings may be edited, declined, corrected or removed where reasonably necessary to keep the website safe, accurate and useful.

6. Acceptable use

You must provide accurate information and use the website lawfully. You must not submit false enquiries, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the website, send spam, upload harmful code or use automated tools to collect website data at scale.

7. Website content and intellectual property

The website design, branding, original writing, software and compiled catalogue are owned by or licensed for use on bookentertainment.com.au. Performer names, photographs, videos, recordings and other third-party material remain the property of their respective owners.

You may use the website for personal event-planning purposes. You may not republish, sell or commercially exploit website content without permission from the relevant rights holder.

8. Third-party websites

The website may link to entertainer websites, video platforms, maps, payment services and other websites that are not controlled by bookentertainment.com.au. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use them.

9. Availability and consumer rights

Reasonable care is taken to keep the website useful and accurate, but interruptions, outdated information and errors can occur. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law, bookentertainment.com.au is not responsible for indirect loss caused only by reliance on an unconfirmed profile, enquiry or quote, or by use of a third-party website.
