A Boy Named Cash

Monty Cotton performs the songs and voice of Johnny Cash in A Boy Named Cash. The one person show uses vocals, instruments and pedals to cover the Man in Black's best known material, with the option to expand the act to a duo, trio or full band. Monty has taken the tribute around Australia and the UK, playing pubs, clubs, arts festivals, mine sites, corporate functions, cruise ships and broadcast appearances. The stripped back format keeps the focus on Cash's songbook and Monty's live performance, while the larger configurations suit stages that call for more musicians.
