Acacia String Quartet brings contemporary compositions into a programme that also includes established chamber repertoire. Formed in 2010, the ensemble has collaborated with artists including Jane Sheldon and Katie Noonan. Its recording work includes Blue Silence, devoted to Elena Kats-Chernin's string quartets. The group performs concerts as well as appearing at functions.
