Acoustic Union play the instruments the music was written for, which is why the old time, country blues, hillbilly and bluegrass material sounds right rather than reconstructed. Johnny Cash, Steve Earle, Tom Waits and the country blues greats are where the influences sit. The band works as a duo or a trio, and suits a Brisbane wedding, a themed event, a corporate night or a venue booking. Handmade music, played by people who clearly like it.
