Acushla

Acushla are a Tooborac traditional Irish music band named from the Gaelic phrase "A chuisle mo chroí", meaning pulse of my heart. The act is unusually clear about what they do and do not do. They play instrumental Irish traditional tunes such as jigs, reels and slides, in the spirit of music played around a table in an Irish pub, though they can also present it through a PA as a stage band. They do not sing Irish songs such as The Star of the County Down or Pogues material. That distinction helps buyers choose accurately: instrumental Irish tradition, not pub-song singalong.
