Adam Barnard

Forty-odd years behind a kit playing jazz and swing, from the 1920s through the 50s and out the other side, plus old-school washboard and percussion. Adam Barnard is the third of four generations of a musical family, and he's worked with a long list of Australian jazz names including James Morrison, George Washingmachine, Ignatius Jones, Mic Conway and Don Burrows. He currently plays with The Aston Martinis, King Creole, Tipsey and The Tonics, The Faculties, Dr Gumbo, Greg Poppleton, Pia Andersen's Queenie and The Cavaliers, and Bootsie's Four Piece Trio. Sydney based, and still very much working.
