Adam Mendum is a folk artist based in Richmond who runs an original project alongside the covers work, and the covers are the fun part: he's folkified Seven Nation Army, I'm On Fire and Rocket Man, which does something quite different to those songs and lifts a room in the process. He'll also head into smoother territory with Hozier, Gregory Alan Isakov and The Paper Kites when that's what the night wants.
