Aerialist Kate

Kate works across aerial silks, single and double rope and the German wheel, graduating in 2013 with a Bachelor of Circus Arts from Australia's National Institute of Circus Arts, majoring in rope, tissu and German wheel. Since then she has performed locally, internationally and aboard a cruise ship, and completed further training in rope at the Gravity Circus Center. On the single rope she builds a routine of drops, strength and flexibility; on the double rope, balances and tumbles that create shapes in the air. Her German wheel act adds constant motion through the large metal frame, and she also performs acrobatics, tightwire, trapeze, fire fans and bungee, drawing on training in dance as well as circus.
