Afrodisa is a world music band from Brisbane, Queensland.
Reggae, calypso and African sounds sit at the centre of Afrodisa's set, mixed through with soul and R&B. Founder Joe Tee leads the band with African singing and dancing. The line-up can scale from a duo up to five players or more, and a roving format with its own music trolley and portable PA opens up street carnivals, shopping centre promotions and store openings alongside the standard stage booking. Festival credits include the Bob Marley Festival in Kandos, New South Wales, the Gold Coast Marathon, the Childers Festival across two years, and both the Mackay and Rockhampton multicultural festivals, plus the Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Festival.
