After Hours
Trio · Based in Adelaide
About this act
Three players, sixties through to current radio, and enough Adelaide history between them to fill a book. Phill Mackie started gigging around Adelaide venues in the sixties with Merlin and Quicksilver, later formed Cover Bros and then The Darlingtones. Brian Adamson played lead guitar with Inside Looking Out, joined Quicksilver alongside Phill, then spent time in Britain touring and recording two singles before coming home to sixties, blues and general covers work. Heather Wilde sings the lot, from rock she can belt out to gentle love songs, and has worked pubs, clubs, wineries, weddings and parties in a string of duos and trios. Together they play for dancing, singing along, or just tapping a foot at the table.
