Alastair Hay pipes for weddings, funerals, community events and private functions across south-east Queensland, from Moreton Bay and Greater Brisbane out to the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Wide Bay-Burnett, Darling Downs and Lockyer Valley. The repertoire runs from solemn slow airs to traditional march sets and quick jigs, reels and hornpipes, matched to the tone of the day after a short phone consultation. There's nothing to set up and no amplifiers needed. Arrival is 30 to 45 minutes early, enough time to tune the pipes and run through the plan before the first note.
