Fifteen years playing Tasmanian venues has made Alex Hutchins a trusted name around Hobart. The live show is guitar and vocals, covering well-known artists from classic hits through to modern favourites, and he adjusts in real time: laid-back background music during dinner, upbeat pub sessions, or full singalong sets when the room wants lifting. Demand from weddings and private events pushed him into DJing too, and he's since done over ten weddings, so a night can move from live acoustic straight into a dance floor set.
