Folk, indie, pop and rock covers from the 70s through to now, plus a stack of her own songs. Alexis Star has spent two decades on stage as a solo acoustic artist and backup vocalist, and released two albums of originals under the name Rachel Laing. Expect anything from Fleetwood Mac and Elvis to Ed Sheeran, Vance Joy and Alanis Morissette, reworked in her own way. In 2018 she packed a van and took the show around the country, playing festivals, venues and private events along the way. She can perform solo, or add DJ sets to carry a wedding from ceremony through to the end of the night. And outdoor events without power aren't a problem; her rig runs self-powered for up to six hours.
