Aliah Banchik

Shark research and neurodiversity advocacy don't often share a stage, but they do with Aliah Banchik. She's a marine scientist, TEDx speaker and cast member of the Netflix series All the Sharks, and she speaks from lived experience of ADHD and dyslexia. Her talks take the stigma out of thinking differently, treating it as a strength rather than a setback, with plenty of humour and real stories from underwater fieldwork along the way. Schools, workplaces and science events are her natural habitat, and topics stretch across neurodiversity, inclusive thinking and shark science itself. Sessions run as keynotes, school talks or panels, in person or virtually.
