Electric banjo, harmonica, stomp box, keys, guitar and tambourine, all handled by just two people. Ally Row are a Gunaikurnai/Gippsland folk rock and alt country duo, and Triple J Unearthed winners, whose multi-instrumental setup makes a far bigger sound than a duo has any right to. Warm vocals and velvety harmonies carry honest lyrics that don't shy away from the darker sides of love and mental health, but the beat stays infectious and the toes keep tapping. Sets lean on originals, with covers from the likes of Mumford and Sons and Of Monsters and Men. They need power for a standard PA and about three metres square of space.
