Alterpath

Sam Sanderson and Bai Sumeng make up Alterpath, a Tasmanian duo with twelve years of music-making behind them. What began as dubstep production has since branched into house, garage, UK grime, trap and Latin-influenced sounds, built through steady experimentation rather than sticking to one lane. Sanderson took up composing at thirteen, spending those first years learning sound design alongside music theory before Alterpath came together. This year brought the duo's first festival slot and headline show, and their sound is starting to reach audiences right across Australia.
