Opened for Joan Rivers, appeared in Kath and Kim, and has done drag from New York to London and all over Australia. Amanda Monroe's shows are built on lipsynched comedy numbers, singalong standards and quick jokes woven around whoever's being celebrated. She runs drag bingo too, cards, pens and prizes included, and brings her own sound system, so a lounge room works as well as a function centre. Hens parties and baby showers are home turf, though corporate rooms get the same treatment. Formats stretch or shrink to fit the running sheet.
