Amazing Christo

Sleight of hand, illusion, escapology and mentalism all feature in the act built by Darwin-based magician Amazing Christo, who folds audience participation through each style rather than sticking to one. Performance experience includes outback Australia and overseas appearances. Two figures from Australian magic history shaped that path: comedian and actor Slim DeGrey served as an early mentor, and Christo was named successor to magician Mick Abud, inheriting Abud's collection of notes, props and photographs in 1997, which Christo has since restored and preserved. Corporate events, private parties, festivals and weddings all sit within the act's usual range of bookings.
