Amber Kenny writes from a farm in the Southern Highlands on Gundungurra land, and the songs carry that directness. Her 2023 debut single Run Dry was produced by Nash Chambers, and the video is still in rotation on CMT. That same year she made her US debut at the Bluebird Cafe during AMERICANAFEST in Nashville. Her Diaries of a Songwriter tour took in the Irish and Celtic Music Festival at Yass and the Bundanoon Folk Festival, and she's played Tamworth Country Music Festival three years running, both solo and with 3 Birds and The Truth alongside Beth Lucas and Jo Caseley. Her debut album Beautiful Scars, produced with Syd Green and Ben Fink, features Lyn Bowtell, Lloyd Swanton and Clare O'Meara.
