An Excellent Vintage Selection runs a repertoire from the 1920s to current hits, taking in Vera Lynn, Doris Day, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Bessie Smith, Etta James, Dinah Washington, Ray Charles, Joe Cocker, Aretha Franklin and Amy Winehouse, plus vintage arrangements of newer material from Michael Jackson to The White Stripes. Singer Melly has been performing for well over fifteen years, with several established musical theatre credits behind her and a recent national tour of the comedy Menopause The Musical, Women On Fire, playing Professional Woman. The full production is a seven piece band with chorus girls and a stack of costume changes across two 50 minute sets. It also scales down to a duo, trio or anything up to eight pieces.
