Andrew Daddo

Television, radio, podcasting and the odd stint in filmmaking all feature somewhere on Andrew Daddo's résumé. He began at Network Ten as an undergraduate at Monash University, where he majored in politics and history, before moving to the ABC in 1987 to host the national music show The Factory. A run at MTV in New York followed, then a return to Australia and roles at the Nine and Seven Networks through the 1990s, including Australia's Funniest People and the TV Week Logie Awards. He has since built a parallel career as an author, with 28 books across picture books, chapter books, short stories and novels, among them the children's title Atticus Van Tasticus and the young adult novel Just Breathe. He is a regular advocate for literacy in Australian schools and writes on golf for Golf Australia Magazine.
