Angelic

Angelic uses silver body paint and two-metre wings to turn one performer into a silent, curious angel who has apparently wandered into the wrong world. Mime, stillness and comedy carry the character rather than any spoken line, with glitter, bubbles and music worked in alongside heavy audience interaction. The format bends three ways: a living statue, a roving character or a busking act, run solo in sets of around 40 minutes. It has travelled well beyond Melbourne, appearing at the Perth International Arts Festival, the Street Arts Festival in Fremantle, the Coffs Harbour International Buskers Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival and Adelaide's Street Theatre in the Mall, as well as festivals across Japan, the Netherlands, the UK, Germany, Italy, Romania, Ireland, Austria, Canada and New Zealand.
