Guitar and vocal harmonies form the base of Anjali Duo in Brisbane, stretched across a repertoire that runs from old school pop and rock through to more recent R'n'B, taking in Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Marvin Gaye, Jimmy Barnes, Lorde, Ed Sheeran, Rihanna and Bruno Mars along the way. Acoustic grooves suit an early set, while the same pair can lift into dance floor material later on. Extra players join when a bigger sound is wanted: a drummer and bass player turn the duo into a full band.
