Annie Z

Annie Almeida, who performs as Annie Z, plays piano and sings across R&B, smooth jazz, acoustic arrangements, soul, pop and dance, with Eastern influenced vocal touches running through it. She opened for Dionne Warwick in 2018 and has held residencies at The Star and Shangri-La Sydney. Her stage credits take in touring productions including Born This Way Gaga Tribute Show, Blondes Have More Fun, Duets the Show, Dancing in the Shadows of Motown and Jamnation. The multilingual repertoire is genuinely unusual: she sings favourites in Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. She's also a studio collaborator for independent artists and international projects, including a 2023 Perfecto Records remix of Here Comes the Rain Again.
