Annie Z

Piano and vocals both sit with Annie Almeida, who performs as Annie Z across smooth jazz, R&B, soul, pop, dance and acoustic sets, adding Eastern-influenced vocal phrasing to the mix. In 2018 she took a support slot ahead of Dionne Warwick, and residencies at Shangri-La Sydney and The Star have followed. Touring productions she has featured in include Dancing in the Shadows of Motown, Jamnation, Duets the Show, a Lady Gaga tribute called Born This Way, and Blondes Have More Fun, on top of corporate and community bookings around the country. She also sings in Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin, and has worked as a studio collaborator, including a remix credit on a 2023 Perfecto Records single.
