Arte Kanela Flamenco is a dancer from Melbourne, Victoria.
Richard and Johnny Tedesco created Arte Kanela Flamenco in 1990. Richard provides musical direction, guitar and composition, while Johnny works in choreography, dance and percussion. The group has since drawn collaborators from both sides of the world, working with Australian artists including Kate Ceberano and The Cat Empire, and with Spanish flamenco dancers Andres Pena, Javier Marin, Luis De Luis and Mariano Cruceta, guitarists Felipe Maya and Jose Luis Monton, and singer Jesus El Amendro. Live guitar, percussion and dance carry the performance.
