Tasmanian-born independent pop artist Asta can work as a stripped-back acoustic act, front a full band, or step behind the decks for a DJ set. A demo posted online at 17 caught the attention of radio station Triple J, and she went on to win the station's annual Unearthed High competition. Funk-infused basslines and a distinctive vocal range mark her recorded output, which has since passed 30 million streams. She has earned ARIA certification and two gold records over the course of an independent career, and performs out of Darlinghurst.
