Nearly three decades of collecting has given Athol a crate most DJs would envy, and the deep dig is exactly the point. Soulful, deep and jazzy house, disco, edits, electronic, Afro, nu disco, Italo, Brazilian and acid jazz all get a run, and rare jazz funk and boogie sit next to forward-thinking house without a seam showing. He'll build a warm, laid-back atmosphere or set a floor going, depending on what the night wants. He holds a residency at Cloudland in Brisbane every Saturday.
