Atomic Pulse

Female and male lead vocals sit across the top of Atomic Pulse in Brisbane, grown out of the earlier Karma Duo line up into something that scales from a trio to an eight piece band. Lara May and Nigel Jones share lead vocal duties, Nigel also on guitar, with Shelley on bass and David Watts on drums rounding out the core band. Pub rock staples from Jet, Black Keys, Green Day, Guns N' Roses and Muse sit in the same set list as smoother material from Alicia Keys, Jack Johnson, Crowded House, Michael Buble and Fleetwood Mac, alongside Beyonce, Pink, Bon Jovi, No Doubt, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Robbie Williams. Larger configurations add acoustic guitar, piano and a horn section on top of the standard rhythm section.
