Augie March formed in Melbourne in 1995, bringing together musicians with connections to Collingwood and Shepparton. Early pub shows and recordings of Glenn Richards's songs grew into touring and a recording career with gold and platinum albums. Their music moves between traditional song structures and more experimental writing. After an extended break beginning in 2009, the band returned five years later.
