Aussie Thunder

Formed in 2017, this five-piece works through the catalogue of Australian rock, from pub anthems to the harder-driving tracks that built the genre here. AC/DC and The Angels sit in the set alongside Rose Tattoo and Jimmy Barnes, and the band moves on through INXS, then Noiseworks and The Screaming Jets before turning to Dragon, Australian Crawl, Diesel and Divinyls. Daddy Cool and Ol' 55 lead into the closing stretch, with Chain and Kevin Borich rounding things out, spanning several generations of the local scene in one show. Vocals and guitar carry the load, backed by a full rhythm section built for volume. The band has played pubs, clubs, festivals and major events.
