About this act
Aviida brings together vocalists Clayton Petera and Paula Parore. Clayton's background spans acting, musical theatre, film and television in New Zealand before he moved to Perth, where he also became a Stevie Wonder impersonator and member of Indigenous Motown group The Dulcitones. Paula appeared on the first season of The Voice Australia, sang the New Zealand national anthem at Bledisloe Cup matches and performed in Ma Rainey based theatre work at Melbourne Fringe. Her credits also include support shows for Toni Childs and appearances on Telethon. Together, Paula and Clayton have co-hosted a music segment on Aurora Channel's The Couch.
