Backlash Jazz

A quintet formed in 2002, Backlash have been playing to Perth audiences ever since, in rooms of every size. Their repertoire runs across the width of jazz: Latin, modern funk, 1960s soul jazz, plus original writing of their own. That soul jazz strand is the giveaway. It's the sound that keeps a function moving without ever tipping into a party band. Style and finesse rather than volume, which is why they work for weddings, private functions, corporate events and ongoing venue bookings around town.
