About this act
Formed in 2013, Badaboom are five players with hundreds of gigs between them and a set built from classic and modern rock. Australian material carries a lot of it, with Hoodoo Gurus, Paul Kelly and Powderfinger in the mix, then Bowie, Tom Petty and Aerosmith, then Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys and Maroon 5. What they are good at is reading a room and pulling the right songs for it, which is a different skill from knowing a lot of songs. They play private functions, birthday parties, weddings and corporate events.
