Bahja is a belly dancer from Brisbane, Queensland.
Flamenco and historic Middle Eastern movement meet tribal rhythm in this Brisbane act's take on belly dance. Alongside performance, Bahja runs tribal bellydance workshops covering basics, formations, sword technique and costuming, structured as half-day sessions with a break for lunch. Henna tuition is offered, and henna tattooing can be included in a group celebration. Private functions and corporate events both sit within the act's usual work, and more than one dancer can be booked where a bigger show is wanted.
