Two voices, one show. Battle Of The Voices puts the big-lunged pop of Gene Pitney up against the songbook of Roy Orbison, and runs for over an hour of hits from both. It's a straightforward premise and it works because the two catalogues sit so differently against each other, one all drama and swell, the other all melody and heartbreak. Good for a club show, a themed night, or any audience that grew up with either of them on the radio.
