Beau Waters

Beau Waters played 120 games for the West Coast Eagles between 2004 and 2013 and served as vice-captain and included a Premiership medal as a key defender in the 2006 flag. Awards followed on the field, including All-Australian selection in 2012 and the AFL's Most Courageous Player award the same year, and Beau Waters completed a Masters in Business and a Masters in Politics and Public Policy alongside the football. Governance and mentoring work with not-for-profits has continued since, including long-running fundraising for Cancer Council and involvement with the Kicking Goals Program supporting Indigenous engagement. Talks draw on that mix: leadership, resilience and teamwork built from a playing career and the work that followed it.
