Bede Prince is a Meanjin bassist and a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, where he studied under Peter Walters, Steve Newcomb and James Sandon. He's in demand across the Brisbane and Queensland scene, and has shared stages with Steve Newcomb, James Morrison, Darren Percival and John Hoffman. Venues include the Brisbane and Toowoomba Jazz Clubs, JMI Live and DooBop Jazz Bar. Conservatorium training plus that many gigs makes for a bassist who can handle whatever the chart throws at him.
