Bella Deer writes indie-pop-tinged alternative music with a darker edge, and her sophomore single Care Too Much made the finals of the 2021 APRA AMCOS Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition. The vocal draws Florence Welch comparisons, which is fair enough. Based between Geelong, the Surf Coast and the Bellarine, she performs a full hour of originals either solo at the keys or with a four piece of keys, guitar, bass, drums and vocals. Covers are on the table too when the event calls for them: The Horses, Ho Hey, Mess Is Mine, Fade Into You, You've Got The Love. Support slots and festivals suit. She'll need a PA, mixer and engineer. Performance insurance held.
