Belly Dancer

Jordan Galliott dances out of Townsville in North Queensland and has toured internationally. Props are a big part of what she does: swords, finger cymbals, canes, silks, candelabras. A wedding performance typically opens with an entrance song, moves through a folkloric or fantasy piece with props, brings the guests in, and closes on an energetic drum solo, running twenty to thirty minutes or two shorter halves with a costume change. She'll adapt Western songs too, belly dancing to Arab covers of Get Lucky, Rock the Casbah and Chandelier. Getting the bride, groom or birthday person up to dance is one of the most requested moments. Weddings, birthdays, hens nights and variety shows. She also teaches workshops. Public liability insurance and music licensing in place.
