Ben Jones 4tet

With a quartet of guitar, double bass, drums and saxophone, the Ben Jones 4tet plays swing-first jazz out of Sydney, with both Ben Jones and guitarist David Blenkhorn sharing vocal duties across the set. That two-voice arrangement adds contrast through a program built for anything from a jazz club date to a corporate function or wedding. Standards make up the bulk of the repertoire, among them All of Me, Body & Soul and Take the A Train, mixed in with Latin numbers such as Girl from Ipanema and Corcovado. The group tailors its set and format to the specific event rather than running one fixed program.
