Ben Malone

A loop pedal, a guitar and a voice, and Ben Malone builds a full-sounding set out of the three. He's based in the Southern Highlands, south-west of Sydney, and he's been gigging for over a decade across cover bands, originals bands and now mostly solo. The song choices run from the 70s to now: Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Michael Jackson, Paul Kelly, Crowded House, Whitney Houston, Dolly Parton. He sings the female-fronted songs as readily as the male ones. Parties, weddings, funerals, restaurants and pubs all get the same treatment. Setup takes 30 to 45 minutes and he brings his own speakers, so all he needs is one powerpoint. He holds a working with children check and public liability insurance.
