SJ Crew

The SJ Crew dance out of Studio J, Melbourne's biggest Bollywood dance studio, and they bring the colour and the costumes with them. Bookings start at three dancers. Performances run 5 to 15 minutes and can be split into shorter shows with costume changes between, or you can add a workshop and get guests up dancing for 25 to 30 minutes, complete with dupattas and bindis for smaller groups. Roving and meet-and-greet sets are flexible in length. Beyond Bollywood they cover Bhangra, South Indian and semi-classical styles, and they perform for Eid, Holi and Diwali events with care taken to keep it culturally right. They need a private area for changing and warming up, and a sound system for the backing track, though they can supply one.
