Billy Bakos

Billy Bakos has drummed professionally for years around Brisbane and Queensland, and survived cruise ship showband duties, backing stage shows and playing for fly-in performers, which is about as demanding as sight-reading gets. He works as a session drummer and plays in several of the better local bands, covering rock, pop, country, blues, roots and vintage rock and roll, with weekly bookings at bars, pubs, clubs, markets and events. There's always room for a last-minute call-up or a new project, which tells you what sort of player he is.
