Billy Thorpe Tribute Band

Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs were called the loudest band in the land, and this Brisbane tribute band chases that reputation rather than tiptoeing around it. The set covers the whole run, from the early sixties material through to the later years, so you get Poison Ivy, Be Bop A Lula, Rock Me Baby and Most People I Know, played straight through with little let-up. The musicians between them have well over a hundred years of playing behind them, and the point of the exercise is the raw live sound rather than a polished studio copy. Venues, themed nights, private functions and special occasions all suit.
