The cherry red Fender does a lot of the talking. Billy Volkofsky plays timeless rock and blues, heavy on the seventies and eighties, and a habit of drifting mid-song into something twangy and country, then something funkier and sharper. Little Wing, Pride and Joy, Sultans of Swing, Purple Rain, Tears in Heaven, Under the Bridge. A few originals get in there too. Requests are welcome, though the rehearsed material is where he's strongest. He brings amp, guitar, pedals, microphone and stand, but no vocal PA of his own. Melbourne based.
