Solo, Billy Whitton works through jazz, blues and classic pop and rock, guitar instrumentals included, and can hold to one style if that's what the gig calls for. Hallelujah, Ain't No Sunshine, Lean On Me, Can't Help Falling In Love. As a duo, a female vocalist adds Aretha, Amy Winehouse and soul. With the Swingcats behind him it becomes swing, blues, reggae and funky pop: Buble, Tony Bennett, Sinatra, then Mack the Knife, Hoochie Coochie Man and No Woman No Cry. He carries a good PA and background music for the breaks. Based in Hobart.
