About this act
Black Night Sun play rock loud and tight. The core is a four piece, bass, drums, lead guitar and lead vocals, and it can grow with extra vocalists, percussion or guitar for bigger rooms and concert stages. Between them the players have worked across Australia and overseas in covers and originals bands and as session musicians, including with Mark Da Costa and The Black List and Glen Mead, and supporting Russell Morris, Ian Moss, Deni Hines, Killing Heidi and the Brewster brothers from The Angels. The setlist reaches from Cold Chisel's Cheap Wine and Stevie Wright's Evie to Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys and Green Day. They can bring their own PA and basic lighting within greater Sydney and need one to two hours to set up, a three by four metre space, and cover from the weather.
